The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) recently announced the winners of its 2019 Safety and Environmental Sustainability Awards at its Health, Safety & Environmental Seminar in Amsterdam. The International Marine Contractor’s Association’s (IMCA) has recently completed an upgrade to its Anti Bribery and Corruption training programme with Transparency International using the most modern online training techniques available. The updated online eLearning module called Doing Business Without Bribery is the next generation of the version launched in 2018 and is freely available on IMCA’s website. IMCA Welcomes CBP Notice Regarding Offshore Vessels Under the Jones Act

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) welcomes a new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Notice to revoke and modify rulings relating to offshore vessels under the Jones Act.  These revocations and modifications will bring much needed clarity to the U.S. offshore sector, better delineating the difference between “transportation of merchandise,” which is subject to the Jones Act, and offshore construction, which generally is not.  The public, including Members of IMCA together with their clients, should comment on the notice by November 22, 2019. New Feature for IMCA’s eCMID Ensures Usefulness for Clients

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has introduced a new feature to their eCMID website to enable vessel operators to upload additional documents that may be of interest to their clients.
