The exam will be made up of three sections covering the following topics:

Candidates will be allowed a maximum time of 2 hours to undertake the exam. This timing takes into account candidates who are operating in a second language.

The overall pass mark for the exam will be 75%. In addition, the candidates must score a minimum of over 70% in each section of the exam to pass.

The exam questions come from a database which contains in excess of 400 questions, so no two exams will be the same. In addition, the exam has been fully tested to ensure it fulfils our industry’s needs.

Within the chamber practices section, candidates will also be examined on air diving chamber procedures as in some areas of the world, LSTs are required to support air diving operations.

Work is underway on revising the Bell Diving Supervisor (BDS) exam which will also be launched in the near future.
