Marine eCMID Committee
Our aim
The Marine eCMID Committee brings together representatives of vessel operators, vessel inspection companies and clients to co-ordinate developments within the eCMID system – the industry’s Common Marine Inspection Document.
Our activities
The Committee oversees IMCA’s eCMID system which provides standard formats for the inspection and auditing of offshore vessels. The use of eCMID helps promote safety and efficiency and can help reduce the number of repeat inspections on individual vessels by providing a consistent, transferrable format which meets vessel operator and client requirements alike.
