Contracts & Insurance
Our aim
The Contracts & Insurance Committee aims to promote dialogue and foster a wide understanding of contracts and risk management, in the long-term interests of all participants in the offshore energy industry.
The Committee is appointed by and reports to the IMCA Board.
Our activities
We encourage an equitable contractual balance of risks and rewards based on IMCA’s contracting principles.
As part of our work, the Committee publishes a range of contracts, risk and insurance related documentation.
We have a regular engagement programme connecting industry experts in our fields. Guest presenters are regularly invited to share the latest initiatives and practices with the Committee.
From time to time the Committee organises seminars and workshops to connect our Members and industry stakeholders.
