IMCA Members may be interested to hear about the publication Roads to Ruin – A Study of Major Risk Events: Their Origins, Impacts and Implications which has been produced by Airmic, a fellow members’ association. The case studies outlined in Roads to Ruin consist of some of the world’s biggest organisations, with the risk events having considerable, often catastrophic, impacts on these organisations. The report has huge value, not only to risk professionals, but to the boards of directors to which they report.

Airmic support those responsible for risk management and insurance within their own companies. Like IMCA, Airmic provide information and networking opportunities for the benefit of their members. Their work programme also includes research, training, lobbying and over forty events per year, including an annual conference for over six hundred delegates.
